Remembering Nissim Ezekiel (1924–2004) - poet, playwright, and one of the founding voices of modern Indian English poetry. ✨
Our "Mumbai Icons" series brought together curator
Fiona Fernandez and panelists Urna Bose and Mustansir Dalvi
for a warm evening of readings and reflection, along with moving video
reminiscences from his daughter Kavita Ezekiel Mendonca and editor Vinita
Agrawal, creators of the centennial volume Nissim Ezekiel: Poet &
Father.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Discovery of India Building for an evening that celebrated a life devoted to words. 🕊️📖
