The Nehru Centre Library was honoured to host the Bloomsday and Beyond 2026 celebrations in collaboration with the Consulate General of Ireland, Mumbai (@irelandinindia).
The event paid tribute to the enduring literary legacy of
James Joyce and his masterpiece Ulysses, bringing together literature
enthusiasts, scholars, and members of the community to celebrate the timeless
power of storytelling.
A special highlight of the occasion was the ceremonial
gifting of books by the Consulate General of Ireland to the Nehru Centre
Library, symbolising the shared commitment of India and Ireland to promoting
literature, learning, and cultural exchange.
