Millets for Children: Rhymes, recipes and resources for all ages - Saturday, 4th November 2023

 

The Food and Agriculture Organization has designated 2023 as The International Year of Millets (IYM 2023) to increase awareness about the nutritional benefits of millets.

Published by the Indian Women Scientists’ Association (IWSA), Millets for Children: Rhymes, recipes and resources for all ages is a fun book that is replete with information about ‘superfood millets’.

Join us on a Saturday morning with facilitators Vijaya Chakravarthy, Medha Rajadhyaksha, Sweedle Cerejo - Shivkar and Katie Bagli as they recite poetry, share millet facts, do a puppetry show and conduct a quiz. We will also serve millet cookies before the programme. Please see the e-invite.
