What’s Up at the
@NehruCentreLibrary
The month of August has been
to promote the love for literature and library spaces. The library with its
plethora of activities was buzzing with life.
The
Poetry Evening on 5th August was a big hit where we had the young poet,
Puranjay Khanna in conversation with Ms. Urna Bose.
On
19th August “World
Photography Day”, young learners got an opportunity to attend the interactive
session with Nandita Da Cunha, wherein she spoke about her love for reading,
writing as she discussed her book “Who Clicked That Pic?” on the life of ace
photographer Homai Vyarawala. The insightful and engaging session inspired many
to take up writing.
A library visit was a great
opportunity to provide a window to the students’ minds and open the doors of
their hearts! We were happy to host students library science students of ‘SHPT
Department of Library Science’ and ‘Akkamahadevi Women’s University of Vijayapur,
Karnataka’ as also school students of the ‘The Somaiya School’.
